Milda Iversen, nee Kuzmickas, age 60, of Lansing, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at Community Hospital, Munster, IN, loving wife of Tarvis; devoted mother of Erik (Marina) Iversen and Kristoffer (Debbie) Iversen; stepmother to Sharryl (Steve) Norris, Lynn (Ken) Wurth and Anne (John) Eberhardt; three brothers, Stanley, Peter (Candi) and George (Marilyn) Kuzmickas and one sister, Maryanne Kuzmickas; loving cousin Milda Harris. Preceded in death by her parents, Simas and Stefa Kuzmickas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2002 at 10 a.m. from the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, with Rev. Paul Brunner officiating. Burial Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Milda was born Sept. 30, 1941 in Lithuania. She immigrated to the U.S.A. from Germany in 1948. She was raised on her parents’ farm in Antioch, IL. After graduating from Antioch H.S., she became a beautician, opening the Longwood Beauty Salon in Chicago. She eventually quit work to raise her two sons. Her major goal in life was to make sure her boys received a college education. Info 708-474-0024 .
