Michele C. Prislinger, 47, of Palatine, a waitress and restaurant hostess, died of liver failure Monday, June 24, in Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Born in Evanston and raised in Palatine, she graduated from Fremd High School in Palatine, where she met her husband, Terry. “I fell in love with her the minute I met her,” her husband said. Mrs. Prislinger worked as a waitress and hostess at the Dunton House restaurant in Arlington Heights since 1969. Though she often worked long hours, she loved her job and chatting with regular customers, her husband said. Mrs. Prislinger is also survived by two sons, Jason and Sean; a daughter, Kristin; her mother, Dorothy; two brothers, Michael and Mark Randolph; and two sisters, Alison Gleich and Christy Kosse. Visitation is scheduled from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 467 N. Benton St., Palatine.
