Is it just my imagination, or has there been an inordinate amount of SUV-bashing in the Tribune lately?
At least once every two or three weeks, there seems to be a cartoon, editorial or column that features a disparaging remark about those ubiquitous sport-utility vehicles.
My question is, at what point does satirizing, stereotyping and scapegoating SUVs and their owners become as much a cliche as the SUVs themselves?
And no, while I grudgingly admit that I am a suburbanite, neither my family nor I owns an SUV.
