This is in response to those readers who wrote “Tabloid photo” and “Shameful photo” (Voice of the people, June 24), who believe the Tribune was irresponsible and insensitive for the June 19 photo of the bus-bombing victim in Israel.
I feel it was responsible reporting by the Tribune and its staff for showing us this gruesome picture of reality.
The Tribune is neither a tabloid, nor did it run a tabloid-like picture. It was simply telling and showing us that terrorism and senseless violence is a continuing problem, even when it is thousands of miles away from here.
