Thank you for the June 1 editorial “Thin is in, but not healthy.” You hit the nail on the head with your statement, “Whether it is obesity or an obsession with being thin, it is unhealthy.”
A culture that has been so successful at convincing women and girls that gaunt is good has the knowledge and know-how to re-educate these women and girls. Can we hope your editorial gave them a nudge in that direction?
