Charles E. “Charlie” Kruse, 85, of Huntley, formerly of Rolling Meadows, at rest June 27, 2002. Beloved husband of Doris, nee Ryan; loving father of Susan Kruse, Linda (Gordon) Lang, Kevin Kruse; proud grandfather of Courtney, Antje and Kailee. Mr. Kruse was the former superintendent of gravel crushing operations at Beverly Gravel of Elgin. He was a WW II Veteran of the Army Air Corp. He enjoyed boating and was an excellent carpenter. Funeral services 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 2 at James A. O’Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E. Main St., Huntley. Interment is private. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
