Gladys L. Loftus, age 93, a resident at Golden Years in Walworth, WI, died Friday, June 28, 2002 at Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn, WI. She was born on August 21, 1908 in Chicago, the daughter of Lucian and Mae Dillon, nee Fairfield. She married Frank Loftus on Feb. 6, 1943 in Chicago; he preceded her in death on June 30, 1991. She was employed as a secretary at AB Dicks in Chicago for 48 years. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Delavan. After retirement, Gladys and her husband, who retired from the Chicago Board of Trade, moved to Delavan to be with her dear sister, the late Florence Skog, and her surviving niece, Marylyn (Bill) Gasch of Delavan, WI. Also surviving are many more nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at Monroe Funeral Home, Delavan, WI with Fr. Scott Leannah officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Delavan. Memorials may be made to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Delavan.
