The first limousine in DaimlerChrysler AG’s revived Maybach line has left the factory in Sindelfingen, Germany, on its way to New York for the world premiere Tuesday. DaimlerChrysler plans to begin full-scale production of the Maybach this fall.
The top-of-the-line Maybach 62 will sell for $349,000 plus tax.
A shorter version, the Maybach 57, will sell for $300,000.
