Ted Charles Prosser, 52, died Thursday, June 27, 2002, at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Monday in Riverland Hills Baptist Church in Columbia, SC. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday in Florence County Memorial Gardens Chapel, directed by WatersPowell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Florence County Memorial Gardens. Mr. Prosser was born in Florence County, the son of Mrs. Devon Munn Prosser and the late Jabo Calvin Prosser. He was Director of Sales and Marketing for Harting North America. Surviving, in addition to his mother of Florence, are his wife, Carolyn Parrott Prosser of Naperville, IL; a daughter, Heather Prosser Fisher and her husband, Jay of Columbia, SC, and a son, Ted Charles “Chuck” Prosser Jr., of Chicago, IL; one sister, Dianne Prosser Parker and her husband Eddie, two brothers, Ferrell Jabo Prosser and his wife Nancy, and Morris Lonewood Prosser and his wife Sandra, both of Florence; two grandsons, John Covington Fisher, Jr., and Jacob Charles Fisher; and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1000, Chicago, IL 60611-1676.
