The story “Soldier’s invincible spirit lives in memory” (Page 1, July 4), about Rocky Versace and his self-sacrifice for our country, truly touched my heart. Stories such as this should remind us all what veterans of all wars gave up so we could live in peace. Not only should Rocky be awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously, he should be canonized as well.
