So many letter writers seem upset at the words “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance. But all the coins and bills in our pockets and wallets state “In God We Trust.” When a person is a witness in a court of law, we say with our hand raised, “So help me God.” In America, God is generic. May God help us all.
