War with Iraq has taken center stage in Washington. I hope the idea isn’t being pushed by the Bush administration to divert the public’s attention away from the corporate scandals and flagging economy. I hate to think that our sons and daughters may soon be put in harm’s way and the Middle East destabilized to ensure President Bush’s re-election in 2004.
