This is regarding the policy of the news media to not publish the names and photos of rape victims. What would happen if a victim is raped and then kidnapped? Would the news media make it more difficult for the public to help to find the victim by not publishing the name and photo? The priority should be to offer whatever information would help in the quickest recovery.
