Rev. John E. Swanson, born in Chicago, IL on Sept. 24, 1935, passed away in Little Rock, AR on August 3, 2002 at the age of 66 years. Rev. Swanson was Pastor Elca of Peace Lutheran Church of Edgemont, AR for the past 4 years. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 18 at 3 p.m. at The Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Center in Oregon, IL.
