Memo to all shopkeepers and supermarket managers in particular: It’s summertime, so please make sure all trash bins are closed, especially if they contain perishables. If they are left open, customers can become nauseated even before they have a chance to enter your establishment to shop. In other words, don’t let potential shoppers walking by get the chance to say, “U-reek-a!”
