Ferdinand V. Ratajack, 80, of Munster, IN, formerly of Rotonda, FL, died Saturday August 17, 2002. Beloved husband for 48 years of Marilu, nee Nondorf; loving father of Susan (Jerry) Caccappolo, Jil (John) Hayhurst, Jeff (Pam) Ratajack and Julee (David) Swingle; cherished grandfather of 10; great-grandfather of two; fond brother-in-law of Bob (the late Madeline) Thompson; preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Annie Ratajack. Fuenral service will be held Wednesday August 21, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. from the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. from St. Thomas More Church. Interment, Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Visitation will be Tuesday 3 to 8 p.m. Mr. Ratajack was a graduate of St. Leo Academy and founded American Claims Service in 1968.
