– A 50th anniversary 2003 Chevrolet Corvette will be raffled at the 9th annual Corvette Funfest Sept. 21 and 22 in Effingham, Ill. Mid America Designs sponsors the event that includes 8,200 Corvettes, Fun Display Car Show and technical seminars. The fest will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 21 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 22. Registration to show a Corvette costs $10. Admission is free, but a $1 donation to the Altamont Lutheran Church is requested for parking.
