As a child of the Depression, I have witnessed an incredible panorama of history, including the dawn of a new millennium.
I have lived through 11 presidents, four wars, a civil rights movement, a sexual revolution, a nuclear missile crisis, a presidential assassination, a moon landing, a presidential resignation, a presidential impeachment trial, a presidential election decided by the Supreme Court and, finally, this attack on American soil!
But here I am, still standing.
And so is America.
