Rick Morrissey’s column of Sept. 1 was unworthy of being printed beneath the words “In the Wake of the News.” I can imagine what Arch Ward, David Condon or Rick Talley would have thought of the column–not much.
“I wanted a long, drawn-out . . . strike,” he writes. Why would any reasonable person want that? Certainly no one who cares about the game of baseball. I can only conclude that Morrissey doesn’t.
The naive and arrogant Morrissey should not write about baseball. He simply doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
