Delores E. Vogt, 66, a retired registration assistant at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, died of a heart attack Wednesday, Sept. 11, in her Elk Grove Village home. Born in Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Vogt moved to the Chicago area after she married in 1955. She settled in Elk Grove Village, where she raised her children and worked part time as a nurse’s aide for several doctors. In 1975 she took a job as a registrar at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. She worked in several departments there, including day surgery, inpatient services and admitting. She retired in 1997. During her retirement, Mrs. Vogt became involved with the Pavilion Singers, a group of women who perform at local churches and nursing homes. Mrs. Vogt also organized the troupe’s schedule. “She was always giving of herself,” said her husband, Donald. Other survivors include two sons, Donald Jr. and Christopher; a daughter, Sheryl Bauer; two sisters, Laura Mueller and Shirley Reynolds; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. in St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church, 601 Biesterfield Rd., Elk Grove Village.
