– Base prices for the 2003 Kia Sorento sport-utility are $19,500 for the LX model and $22,300 for the EX, both with rear-wheel-drive. With four-wheel-drive, the LX is $21,300 and the EX is $24,100. The prices do not include the $495 destination charge.

– Saturn’s new compact sedan, the ION, starts at $11,995 for a base model with manual transmission. Base price on the ION 2, which adds air conditioning, power locks and a CD player, is $13,995. The ION 3 adds power windows and mirrors, cruise control, alloy wheels and other features and starts at $15,495. Automatic transmission is an additional $900 on all models. The prices include the $485 destination charge. Saturn begins production of the ION sedan this month; prices for the Ion coupe, which begins production in January, will be announced later.
