Let me see if I have this straight.
In order to cut someone’s hair, I need 1,500 hours of training.
But to do my current job of being a security officer, I only needed 20 (“Unlicensed barbers doing a clip job; State regulators can’t keep up with `bootleg’ operators; getting haircut can be risky business,” Page 1, Sept. 17).
Is it just me, or is there a problem with priorities in this state?
