In anticipation of the Dec. 18 release of “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers,” New Line Cinema will debut the film’s main theatrical trailer at 12:01 a.m.Monday on America Online worldwide.
AOL Online users can see the trailer by logging onto AOL Keyword: Lord of the Rings.
The AOL launch will be accompanied by upgraded content on New Line’s official www.lordoftherings.net Web site. A new interactive map will take users across the plains of Middle-earth to new locations such as Edoras, Fangorn Forest and Helm’s Deep.
The new trailer for “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers” will debut in North American theaters on Oct. 4.
