So Sammy Sosa threw a hissy fit when he thought Joe Girardi had purposely turned down his clubhouse music (“Looney tunes at Wrigley; Girardi, Sosa clash over Cubs’ clubhouse music,” Sports, Sept. 28).
Do we really need another reminder that the expectations of “professional” behavior in Major League Baseball have fallen so low that the rest of us in the working world can hardly fathom it?
How ridiculous. How stupid. I can’t even call it “juvenile” because the elementary school students whom I teach wouldn’t act that way.
