I am white, and I’m even older and stodgier than Rick Morrissey. I always thought the rule on end-zone celebrations was unfair if it interfered with a genuinely (in the judgment of the officials, ha ha) spontaneous celebration. I think we can all tell the difference. David Terrell’s routine is no more spontaneous than a choreographed dance number.
