PARK RIDGE — I read your article about the CTA (“Quiz: We’ll take public transportation for $1.50,” Oct. 1). Recently I rode from Cumberland to downtown. The train had people from O’Hare who had loads of luggage. They put the pieces on the seats next to them.

As the train filled up, passengers were standing, as the people made no effort to set the pieces on the floor, which blocks the aisles, by the way.

They also stand in the entrance with luggage so it is difficult to enter the train. The CTA has made a nightmare by extending the line to O’Hare.
