Kim Clijsters fought off a match point and won the last five games to beat Amelie Mauresmo 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 to reach the final of the Porsche Grand Prix in Filderstadt, Germany.
Clijsters plays Daniela Hantuchova, who eliminated Elena Dementieva 6-3, 6-2.
Clijsters, who will move from No. 9 back up to No. 5 in the next rankings, lost to Mauresmo in the U.S. Open’s fourth round.
