Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I must disagree with the opinion of Tribune movie reporter, Mark Caro (Movies, Oct. 4), that “Jonah–a VeggieTales Movie” “isn’t one of those animated films likely to be enjoyed by adults without children.”

This 35-year-old adult saw it last weekend.

And I thought it was funny, uplifting and totally entertaining.

I could have chosen to see other films that contained intense battle sequences, disturbing images, violence, drug use, rude humor.

Or, my personal favorite, grisly images.

No thanks.

I could watch the evening news and get all that.

For entertainment, I’d prefer to watch a bunch of vegetables singing about how much God loves us.
