Centenary College of Shreveport, La., will become the ninth member of the Mid-Continent Conference and begin league competition in the 2003-04 school year. The school will be immediately eligible for conference championships and NCAA berths. Current Mid-Con members include Chicago State, Valparaiso and Western Illinois.
