What were you thinking? In this age of water shortages and scarcities, especially out West, whatever made you feature a story on the swimming pools of Las Vegas (“Swimming Las Vegas,” Travel, Oct. 20)? It is a city that utilizes far more water than the region has to offer, and you choose to publish an article on the extravagances of the area. Shame on you.
