The days of the frumpy, out-of-touch “Oxford English Dictionary” are over.
The newly updated edition is fully in line with the information age and the current century. Warning: this first new version since 1993 weighs in at nearly 15 pounds (in two mammoth volumes) and contains some 85,000 quotations from about 7,000 authors and 3,500 new words.
