Dr. Harold Blake Walker, age 98, long time resident of Evanston. Pastor Emeritus of the First Presbytarian Church of Evanston and former columnist for the Chicago Tribune. His column was called Living Faith. He was the former president of the Board of Trustees of the McCormick Theological Seminary. Dr. Walker is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mary Alice of Evanston; three sons: Herbert of Northbrook IL, Howard of St. Helena CA and Timothy of Castle Pines CO; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a sister Marion Wilson of Denver CO. A memorial service will be held Friday 1 p.m. at the Walker Chapel of the First Presbytarian Church of Evanston, 1427 Chicago Ave. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mary Alice Walker Scholarship Fund at the McCormick Theological Seminary of Chicago, 5555 S.
