Ernest S. Lang, 84, of Vero Beach, FL and South Yarmouth, MA, died Nov. 6, 2002 at the VNA Hospice House following a brief illness. He was born April 22, 1918 in Evanston, IL and had been a winter resident of Vero Beach for the past 12 years. Mr. Lang was a Marketing Executive for the food industry in Chicago and Boston for 35 years and served in the United States Army Air Corps as a First Lieutenant during World War II. He was a member of Glen View Club in Golf, IL and Brae Burn Country Club in West Newton, MA. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Jean; and one daughter, Patricia L. Perry of Cotuit, MA. There will be no services. At the family’s request memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Indian River Country, 1111 36th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960, in memory of Mr. Lang.
