Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I could not help but be sickened by two stories in the Nov. 18 Tribune. I noticed the picture of a bird covered in crude oil as a result of the sunken oil tanker off the coast of Spain. In the picture there are at least five volunteers ready to lend a hand to the helpless creature. Then a couple pages later there is a story of homeless children starving to death in Brazil.

Maybe those poor, hungry children should get to Spain ASAP and get covered in oil so somebody pays attention to them. How sad.
