Robert J. Hubata, 83, of LaGrange Park, IL, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, of heart complications. Bob was an Army Veteran of WWII serving in the South Paciic as a Siamese interpreter. He worked at Electromotive in McCook for 41 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Jane Hubata, nee Klipp; son David (fiancee Linda Atwell) Hubata; granddaughters are Elizabeth (Michael) Chapiesky and Elaine (Brian) Weinberg; great-grandson Brendan Weinberg; sister Evelyn Suchy; uncle of Donald Suchy, Jeanne Barrie and John Bates; and has many relatives in the Suchy/Barrie families. Visitation Monday Dec. 9, 2002, 3 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday Dec. 10, 2002, 9:30 to 10 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 W. 31st St., Brookfield.
