Albert Palermo, 86, passed away on Dec. 6, 2002 in his sleep at home in San Diego. Beloved husband of Irene; and beloved father of Alan (Renee). He was also loved dearly by his nieces and nephews, Carol (Alvin) Smith, Kathleen (John) McIntrye and Darlene (Al) Rodriguez. He will be missed dearly by his many friends, teachers, and students at Oak Lawn High School where he was employed for many years. His favorite pastimes were fishing and reading. “Al and I were married for 52 wonderful years, and I will miss his great smile and love.” Viewing will be held Dec. 10, 2002 at Featheringill Mortuary between 4 and 8 p.m., and funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, at Singing Hills Memorial Park.
