Thank you for the excellent three-part series “The tanking of an American dream” (Page 1, Dec. 8-10). This is a story deserving of publication across the United States.
To know that a Supercar is feasible, and that Japan’s Toyota and Honda automakers are taking the lead again and providing American drivers with alternative hybrids, is inspiring.
I hope it bodes well for the future of our environment and will force the Big Three automakers in the U.S. to get with the program.
We need more environmentally friendly cars.
We don’t need bigger and more powerful gas-guzzlers.
