The greatest gift I ever received was from my parents back in 1968. The gift necessitated great care, support and countless hours of work. Essentially it was a gift that needed endless nurturing.
I’ve learned to appreciate this gift even more since my mother passed away in April at the young age of 59. I have also given this gift to three of my children and can only hope that I treasure and nurture it the way my mother did. There is no greater gift than the gift of life.
