Lawrence ‘Larry’ Burks, age 61, beloved husband of Mae; loving father of Michael and Glenn; dear brother of Atty. Lee, Edwood Rudolph (Barbara) and the late Roger; much loved God-father of Kwaben Jean Komai; fond uncle of two nieces and three nephews. Died in Durham, NC, on Dec. 21, 2002. Larry was a long time resident of Chicago and a graduate of Kennedy-King and Greer Technical Colleges. As an automotive specialist, he was the Operations Manager/Division of Fleet Maintenance, city of Durham. The Chicago Memorial Service is Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at A.A.
