Jean Schain, age 87, beloved wife for 67 years of the late Harold; adored mother of Leslie, Jerry (Linda) and Elaine Schain; cherished grandmother of Barry, Amanda and Aaron; loving sister of the late Lizzie Wishni, Gladys (the late Sam) Kosh and Sidney Wishni; also survived by her loving nieces and nephews; and many loving treasured friends including Agata Michalkiewicz, Karol Lemiesz and Dolores Rizzitiello. Mrs. Schain was a devoted wife, mother and friend and dedicated much of her life to various charities and causes. She had a beautiful smile and boundless energy and enthusiasm. She was a role model for all who knew her. Mrs. Schain was a member of Women’s American ORT for over 60 years. Services Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003, 11 a.m. at The Piser Chapel, 5206 N. Broadway, Chicago.
