Robert C. Jackson, 83, of Wheaton for 33 years, beloved husband for 62 years of Norma; dear father of Peter C. (Mary) and Jeffrey C.; proud grandfather of Amanda and Christopher. Born October 13, 1919 in Cedar Falls, IA. Mr. Jackson graduated from Cedar Falls H.S. and then went to Iowa State University in Ames, IA where he received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He served as an officer in the Navy during WWII in the Atlantic and Pacific Theatres. He worked in production and sales for the Monsanto Chemical Company and then the Occidental Petroleum Company. He was a member of the American Legion, the Institute of Food Technologists and also Chicago Drug and Chemical. Services private. Private interment, Wheaton Cemetery.
