Someone should tell letter writer John Carter that, despite what he says, we had several wars under President Bill Clinton (“Clinton haters,” Voice of the people, Jan. 2). I guess he forgot Mogadishu and the two in which I personally served: Bosnia and Kosovo.
I would also remind him that our war on terrorism began under Clinton with the attacks on our African embassies and the USS Cole.
