Robert C. “Bob” Newman, of Hoffman Estates, beloved husband of Lisa, whom he married in 1959 in Denmark; proud father of Robert Douglas (Debbie) Newman; loving grandfather of Jennifer, Ryan and Kristen; dear brother of the late Dorothy Newman. Mr. Newman was born Sept. 9, 1924 in Chicago, IL and passed away Jan. 9, 2003 in Elk Grove Village, IL. He was a retired product engineer for Littelfuse of Des Plaines with 29 years of service to the company. He proudly served his country as a member of the Army Air Corps in Europe during WWII.
