I voted for George Ryan. I am ashamed I did it, but I admit it. It was the worst vote I have ever made in my entire life. If he is indicted for corruption and wrongdoing during his term as secretary of state, and if he is found guilty, I hope he is convicted and serves every single minute of every day of his sentence. Everyone is entitled to make a mistake, and my voting for him was certainly one of my biggest. Please forgive me.
