Built in 1965, this nine-room, approximately 1,800-square-foot tri-level house at 1704 Keeney St. in southwest Evanston was sold by WGN-Channel 9 weekend anchor Robert Jordan, who had purchased it in 1983 for $115,000. The brick and wood house has been updated, with a 2-year-old eat-in kitchen, an alarm system, full electronic wiring and fittingly, a satellite dish television system. Other features include hardwood floors, a patio deck, a fenced yard, a family room and a sub-basement with an exercise room and a rec room. Jordan sold the house because he moved to a million-dollar home in nearby Lincolnwood.

BY THE NUMBERS: Three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a one-car garage.
