Edna Dunteman. To Whom much is Given, much is expected. Edna Dunteman used her talents to do God’s work at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Franklin Park. She also volunteered at Children’s Receiving Home in Maywood and St. Matthew’s Nursing Home in Park Ridge. She was a loving wife to the late Roland W.; a devoted mother to Roland Jr. (Rolly), Allan (Sheila) and Paul (Jane); proud grandmother of Jay Brian, Jill (John) Moloney, Jamy (Richard) Liechty, Judith (Alekley) Murillo, Jennifer (Timothy) Coors, James, Skip, Kirk (Kim), Paul Jr. (Connie), Jeff (Courtney), Roland III (Sue), Audrey (John) Coffey and Matthew (Debbie); proud great-grandmother of 26. Edna was always available to lend a helping hand to her 12 brothers and sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Edna was a founder of Medinah Women’s Club and Social Director of Medinah. No challenge was too great, no task too difficult. Edna was a person who made things happen. A Celebration of Edna Dunteman’s life will be held Sunday, Jan. 26 at 2:30 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 9920 West Grand Avenue in Franklin Park, IL.
