God bless the Landmark family for finding room in their hearts and home for six brothers who were placed for adoption (“`Crazy idea’ is new life for couple, 6 brothers,” Page 1, Jan. 14).
I find it curious that a sixth child was born after these five brothers were in need of a home.
It seems we read more and more every day about the plight of innocent children born into terrible circumstances. We need to find solutions; we need to stop enabling irresponsibility.
Children are a blessing, a gift, not a right but a privilege. We need to stop worrying about the rights of irresponsible people to have as many children as they can. There aren’t enough families like the Landmarks to love them all.
