In regards to Robert J. Graham’s Jan. 15 letter to the editor, “Bush’s leadership,” to which “20-year-long Reagan boom” does he refer, the massive layoffs during his tenure in office or the enormous budget deficit with which he left our nation once he left? Giving President Bush credit for his new economic plan isn’t prudent; I suppose we’ll only understand when the Fat Cats become even more rich and the working class, essentially abandoned in his new plan, sees a reprisal of the Reagan-era job losses.
