Robert H. Gledhill, age 67, of Naperville, born Oct. 5, 1935 in Hammond, IN, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18. Prominent and well respected in the construction industry in the Chicagoland area for over 40 years, he was currently working with Paul H. Schwendener. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1961. Beloved husband and best friend of 45 years to Jurine, nee Medendorp; gracious, loving father of Steven (Cindy), Crystal Porter, Timothy and Randall; kind and caring grandfather of Joshua and Aaron Porter, Allyson and Timothy Gledhill, Rob (Brooke), Eric and Ryan Bright. He is also survived by his mother, Kathryn (the late Wm. Leonard) and four sisters, Beverly Worcester, Janet Christianson, Carolyn Chalecki and Marilyn Gledhill. He was devoted to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, actively involved at Calvary Church in Naperville. Visitation Friday, Jan. 24, 3 to 9 p.m. at Calvary Church, 9S120 Route 59 (Rt. 59 between 75th and 83rd Sts.), Naperville. Lying in state Saturday from 12 noon until time of Service at 1 p.m. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.
