Hey, what are you doing this weekend?

I dunno . . . probably hooking up with my sex buddy.

About a third of sexually active teens in grades 7-11 practice “buddysex” (hooking up, friends with benefits–call it what you want), a survey of young Ohioans has found.

The survey, conducted by Bowling Green State University and reported in The Washington Post, shows that teens don’t have time for involved relationships but feel they have the right to release their sexual energy however they please.

“Some have a steady hookup,” Monica Longmore, a social psychologist on the survey team, told The Post.

Good work, kids. In a few years you’ll be able to do it in an R-rated movie.
